Help me go to Europe!

I am going to Europe for two months in October. I have a ticket, I just need a bit of extra money for food and museum admission.

I am accepting donations of either $1, $5, or $10. In return you will receive a lovely print and a postcard from Europe. Every little bit helps. Click the flier for more information.

The Cat, My first salted paper print

I don't like talking about my art, but I don't mind telling you how I made it. If I can remember.

Or if I am not lazy.

I'll start out with this.

The Cat
Shot on a...um, Canon EOS ~? Kodak Portra 400

Also in class we learned how to make salted paper prints. Using salt (any kind of salt) and - oh gosh - I don't remember exactly. Wait, look here. Silver nitrate - duh.

I am in love.

My first salted paper print
Salt and distilled water solution on "good paper."

A million ideas came to me. I even bought film. But...the inevitable "but."

Life drawing is superb. I'd scan in today's sketchbook, but it is very close to bed.
